This appliance, which challenged our trusted oven, quickly became a fixture on many Australians’ kitchen benches.
We started by air-frying perfectly golden and crispy chicken nuggets, potato wedges, etc., but soon we got creative.
It’s fair to say that we enjoy experimenting with our slow cooker.
Air-frying entire blocks of chocolate may or may NOT be our favorite air-fried creations.
What happened? (And our verdict)
Air fryer marble lattice
This golden white and Milk Chocolate number features an entire block of Cadbury Marble wrapped in a delicate pastry. It has a crisp exterior and a gooey marbled chocolate inside. This ‘lazy dessert’ is ready in less than 20 minutes and only requires three ingredients. The lattice pattern on the pastry makes this easy dessert even more impressive. The lattice pattern on the pastry was our favorite, even though this wasn’t the block we chose to air fry!
Air fryer Caramello Danish
For all Caramello Koala fans, this one features an oozing center of Cadbury Caramello wrapped snugly in a flaky pastry outside. We love this sweet and oozy dessert that only requires two ingredients and your air fryer. A drizzle of cream is the perfect finishing touch. This dessert was a hit for its flavor and texture. Who doesn’t like a little Caramello with chocolate melted in it?
Air fryer Aero Mint Danish
If chocolate-mint is your favorite, you must try this air-fried Aero-chocolate. Two ingredients and 30 minutes to make a sweet, minty air-fried pastry dessert. The unique pastry design also makes it appear more impressive than it is. It’s a must-have for choc-mint fans, but it didn’t make our top 10.
Air fryer Caramilk Danish
Caramilk is not going anywhere, and the air-fried version of it is proof. What’s not to like? The caramelized white-chocolate flavor in a golden flaky pastry drizzled with caramel sauce and served with vanilla ice cream. This recipe is easy to make, delicious, and decadent. It’s no wonder that this recipe is so popular on social media. This dessert has everything you could want from a sweet treat – but be warned, it is super sweet.
Air fryer Fruit ‘n’ Nut Danish
Fruit ‘n’ Nut Chocolate is a dessert that you either love or hate. We even stuffed marshmallows in the puff pastry to make it rocky road-inspired. That’s our lazy Christmas dessert sorted! We thought this was a dud, but the combination of chocolate and melted marshmallow is what will win your heart.
Air fryer Hokey pokey pastry twist
has added banana to the Hokey-Pokey version of the Caramilk pastry. It didn’t beat Caramilk in terms of flavor, but the geometric pattern on the pastry is what got us.
